Time to dig out the glad rags and bucket and spade,
Anybody going to exotic locations? Have a ball but check your passport right now.

I am going to our gate and window view Never been any where on a bank holiday week end always stopped at home . If the sun shines millions of people like lemmings fill the motorways/airports and crowd every where out If it were not for my wife's ill health we could go anywhere at any time bar the bank holidays

I saw something on the news a couple of nights ago regarding passports.
Like ispy stated above, double check them. That is good advice. It will save you a lot of inconvenience and potential disappointment.

Happy at home this weekend but Nice in France is looming as soon as I have a window of opportunity!

I'll be off on me travels to Kitchen. There's one in Japan, and there's one I have at home. Guess which I'll be going to.

Seriously though, my partner and I went to Southport many years ago, on May Bank Holiday (I think), and it was a nightmare. It was hot, traffic was crazy, and drivers with bad tempers. Never again.

The days of going out on bank holidays have long gone with us as the traffic and gridlocks etc is bad enough on normal days.

No wonder, the use of the trains is increasing!
